No is should not matter if you are talking about Margarine or Butter
Spread. I would just wait a bit to reach closer to room temp.

Candy Corn cookies= great idea, but you guys have the candy corn colors
upside down. Google them first. The bottoms are usually yellow, the middles
are brown and the tips are WHITE.
