My sil and her new husband have decided (Well, he decided for the both of them) that their children will not be dressing up for Halloween because it’s a pagan holiday. She is upset but is siding with her husband.

What ever happened to it being a fun kid’s holiday?

I’m dressing up as an old man tomorrow for a halloween contest at work. I have bought everything, but I want to make the costume very original. Since I’m a middle age female, I want the wrinkles to look real. Please help!

I am not pregnant yet, but we are trying and IF it happens around halloween I am looking for a fun way of telling him. Halloween tends to be a special time of year for us. He proposed on Halloween and so I thought it would be a fun idea if it times out.

I want to take a trip towards the end of October to some state that really knows how to celebrate Halloween. What I dont want is Halloween in Hawaii, or Halloween in Arizona. I want some place that captures the essence of autumn, pumpkin carving contests, street masquerades, themed food and drink, those fun houses where people jump out at you.

Some place where the leaves are beautiful and the culture is inviting, fun, and classically cool.

Got any ideas?
